Clarification of “Protected” Posts About the Basis
I’d like to clarify the?password-protected posts about the BASIS, one of which was from today and the other from a couple of weeks ago. These posts are meant as advance material for those who have registered to attend GSUL 5 in Canberra, Australia on November 11-14 AND who are paid Founding Members of The Metal Augmentor service (www.metalaugmentor.com). GSUL stands for Gold Standard University Live and is (or was, until Mr. Eric Sprott?withdrew his sponsorship) the educational arm of Professor Fekete’s teaching empire.
You cannot get the password by registering on this blog (though you should because soon I will probably be forced to allow comments only by registered users given the proliferation of spam).
You cannot get the password by (only) subscribing to The Metal Augmentor (though you should subscribe to make sure you will be able to claim a Founding Membership?if you are not already on my list). While The Metal Augmentor will include detailed discussion and analysis of the basis, it will not cover it in the same depth and to the same extent as the GSUL 5 session. I will be available to answer Founding Member questions and help get?Founding Members?past “sticking points” in?their understanding of the basis and all that it entails, but Founding Membership cannot possibly include extensive one-on-one guidance because there is only 1 of me and just 24 hours in a day. The limited nature of GSUL attendance, however, does allow me to personally assist each participant.
You can get the password as well as one-on-one access to me as needed if you register for the GSUL session through me and if you are also a paid Founding Member of The Metal Augmentor. To?sign up for The Metal Augmentor, please go to www.metalaugmentor.com and purchase the “Mining Equities Report”, which comes with a one-year membership. Founding Memberships are still available but probably not for long. To register for GSUL,?simply get in touch with me by e-mail and I will send you payment instructions. Don’t worry if you cannot actually attend the session in person as I am arranging for a “remote participation” option whereby you will have access to each day’s lecture by streaming video/audio over the Internet. I only need 4 more registrants to make this happen. Through the remote participation, you will have the ability to ask questions about each session by e-mail and these questions will be answered by the Professor?and/or his assistants?as appropriate. To find out more about GSUL 5, please visit www.professorfekete.com/gsul.asp or www.feketeaustralia.com.
The $ is forming an almost perfect head and shoulders. It should rally for a day or two real soon, then fall to 73.50 or so, if the pattern plays out.
As long as one can post a comment I will do so.
You? and Fekete have been sponsored by Sprott for some time and at one point he has decided to stop his support, not even abruptly but with advance warning (if I read correct in one of Feketes posts). I consider it bad style to “bash” (yes, it is not just an information on your part) your former sponsor on every post where you can reasonably do it. If there was a breach of contract state it, if there was a change of mind after some time of sponsoring (and that is what I read) every potential sponsor will not touch you with a tenfoot pole.
Is there going to be a DVD of the sessions? Will it be made available to non-attendees? If so, at what price?
I’m very interested in following the Professor’s work, but cannot afford his, or your personal time (spare cash is going into silver at this time).
oldEurope: I would just like to point out that I am not the Professor and have not “bashed” Eric Sprott, in fact this is the first time I even personally mentioned anything about him and GSUL, and even then I simply stated a fact: “Mr. Eric Sprott withdrew his sponsorship”. Now maybe you have a problem with how the Professor words it, and in that case please feel free to contact the Professor. You do have a valid point as Mr. Sprott did provide financial support at one time and that is something to be grateful for. Yet from what I can see, I think the Professor was really hurt in the manner that the support was withdrawn–something about not being important enough to justify the expenditure. The implication is that Mr. Sprott viewed this as just business, but for the Professor it is much more than that, he really is trying to do something good for the world. So by all means I would think the Professor is just fine with any sponsor who doesn’t get it: they should not touch this with a ten foot pole. In conclusion, please remember, I am not the Professor just as you are not Eric Sprott.
(8?>>: Yes there will be a DVD but it will not cost less than the session (although session attendees will get it around cost). It will include some personal consulting time as well, and the price will depend on the number of DVDs but I’m guessing it will be around $1,000. I believe the DVDs will be available individually or in subsets as well, and there will also be a “session DVD” that covers the highlights with a price tag around $100. But these are just my guesses because I am not the one who will determine the final price or do the work in putting the DVDs together.
Tom, do founding member contest winners have access?
Steve: For now, only if they are also registered for GSUL 5. In a while, I will have special posts for paid/winning Founding Members only.
I will concede that you are not the Professor and I am not Sprott, but I have read about the “Sprott support cut” just one time too often, it’s history, forget it. I think it would also be more appropriate for the quality work of Fekete to just let it go.
oldeurope: Well that was the first and last time I’ll ever mention it, and I will also pass along your concerns to the Professor.
Thanks, sometimes one can get carried away, even myself;)
I just came across this statement to find out more about Prof. Fekete:
“Professor Antal Fekete is an intellectual heavyweight who could probably solve almost any problem to which he puts his mind. In mathematics, just one of his unpublished theories has the potential to solve the coming bottleneck in computing power and artificial intelligence.”
You understand that I immediately had enough.
I like objectivity, not idolization. I think it might be better for me to no longer post on this forum.
Sorry
Seriously Ed, why do you think anybody cares what “Anonymous Ed” has to say on this subject? If you knew anything about anything, you’d know that I have criticized the Professor before and that I don’t throw out praise lightly, and that in this case I really meant it.
Tom,
I have signed up and eager to log in to your secure pages.
How can I do that?
Andras: The “secure pages” so far are for those who are BOTH Metal Augmentor Founding Members AND who have registered for the Professor’s GSUL session in Australia in November. I will have some content for Founding Members shortly.
